Microsoft Word: Intermediate

This workshop introduces the user to features that will help them produce more professional Word documents.

Most users of Word have at least the basic skills to produce reasonably good clear documents.  However, they may not be aware of some of the slightly more advanced features such as tabs or tables, or have the confidence to use them.

Skills introduced:

  • Tab stops
  • Tables including formula
  • Columns
  • Page & Section Breaks
  • AutoCorrect
  • Find & Replace
  • Navigation Pane
  • Custom Styles
  • Page Background
  • Inserting and formatting symbols, pictures, and icons

Attendees must bring their own laptops (not Tablets) with full Microsoft Word, version 2010 or higher.  To check version, open a spreadsheet, click on File then Account.
Please inform the training provider if you will be bringing a Mac laptop.

Skills needed:
This is an intermediate level workshop and attendees should be reasonably confident users of Word.

This workshop is interactive and attendees will gain hands-on experience.  Raw data to work with and detailed notes will be provided.
