MP for Pakuranga

Pakuranga is one of the best places to raise a family in New Zealand. I am proud to live here with my wife Rebecca and our two daughters, Anna and Grace, and to represent this community as the local Member of Parliament since 2017.

I currently serve as National's Spokesperson for Transport and the Public Service and sit on the Transport and Infrastructure Select Committee.

Prior to entering politics, I completed Law and Commerce Degrees at the University of Auckland and worked in Commercial Finance at the Bank of New Zealand, as well as serving as an elected Local Board member at Auckland Council.

During my first term I championed legislation through Parliament to increase the penalties for dealers of deadly synthetic drugs. These drugs are now classified as Class A controlled drugs with dealers facing the full force of the law. I previously sponsored a Bill through Parliament which would allow for the use of Firearm Prohibition Orders, giving our Police an effective tool to get illegal firearms out of the hands of criminals, and forced the Government to take action.
