We are a Charitable Trust and have been operating here since the 1980’s.

Our vision – to inspire learning, growth, and potential. Our mission – to create positive relationships, community and personal change through experiential learning, adventure and challenge. These are at the core of everything we do alongside our kaupapa of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and kaitiakitanga – respect and responsibility for self, for others and the environment.

We will not only share the impact our current primary, secondary school and tertiary programmes have on our community, but also inspire you with new exciting plans and opportunities we believe will set TOPEC and Taranaki on a pathway to a sustainable future.

We know that time spent at TOPEC is making a positive change in the lives of Taranaki youth and young adults.  We want to develop these opportunities further through collaboration and partnerships that will ensure that all Taranaki continues to benefit from the treasure, the taonga that is TOPEC.
