Mary Sagen

Placement Support Coordinator

Wonderful relationships begin over a cuppa and a chat, and our Placement Support Coordinator Mary enjoys both! Mary first joined the team in March 2021 with a focus of adding value to job seekers. She will help you look at wider actions associated with finding employment and increasing connection in Taranaki.

Mary has a Master’s degree in Communication Theory and Research. Her work experience in the USA and NZ comes from a variety of sectors including education, training, administration, support services, health & safety, recreation, and horticulture. She has performed roles providing job development, career awareness, work preparedness, case management, and training to students, new graduates, and adults.

Melissa Keith

Placement Support Coordinator

Melissa is passionate about encouraging and supporting people to reach their goals towards success. She grew up in New Plymouth, moved to Wellington in 1994 to study, worked full time, and then returned in 2003 with her husband to raise their family.

Melissa’s work experience includes Teacher Aide, Caregiver, Union Delegate, Accounting Administration, and Ministry of Social Development. She is studying part time towards a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) Level 3.

Melissa is looking forward to building positive relationships with Ngā iwi o Taranaki, the business community, jobseekers and other stakeholders to achieve long-term sustainable employment.
