I’m proud to be Taranaki born and bred and along with my wife Cheryl, we own TimberCo here in New Plymouth.

In 2011 our business was judged Supreme Winners of the Westpac Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

We are Taranaki’s leading supplier of house frames and trusses to the building industry. We currently have a staff of 17 very talented people that Cheryl and I are very proud to work with.

I have been self-employed for 30 years and I understand the challenges involved in owning and managing a successful business.

I believe the most valuable aspect of the chamber is connectivity and representation.
I’m very passionate about Taranaki and its business community and I look forward to the exciting and challenging times ahead for us all.

I am a current board member of Francis Douglas Memorial College, the last seven years as Chairperson.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends, spending time at my “Happy Place” in a secret part of New Zealand, wake boarding, relaxing, playing average golf and having the odd glass of Red Wine.

I have been a Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Board Member for the past eight years and I enjoy working with the other Board Members on matters concerning our business community here in Taranaki.
