Speakers in Schools

The BEP (Business & Education Partnership) is an initiative of the CEO's Forum which is part of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce.

The partnership essentially embraces an agreement between the CEO's Forum and the schools of Taranaki to work together. Currently this involves several CEOs from the CEO's Forum having made themselves available to speak in schools at no cost. The BEP Lead Group formally facilitates and operates the process of communication and arrangements between the schools and CEOs. It is hoped that in the future the partnership will extend to other business and education opportunities.

The BEP Lead Group consists of:
Stella Bond (New Plymouth Girls' High School) & Mike Brewer (Taranaki Newspapers) - Coordinators, Karen Brisco (Omata School), Jenny Gellen (Waitara High School), Lynne Hepworth (Oakura School), Paul Ryan (Hawera High School), Eric Shaw (Highlands Intermediate School), Margaret Sykes (Education Taranaki) & Howie Tamati (Sport Taranaki) - Members.
