The Taranaki Environmental Education Trust was established in 1992 and has a rich history of implementing programmes in youth development, sustainability, conservation & community development.

The Trust currently manages a range of environmental education projects:
1. Taranaki Environment Centre located in the Metro Plaza, New Plymouth
2. Enviroschools
3. Impact Programme
4. Parininihi ki Waitotara (PKW) partner programme – Pukeiti education day: He Whenua He Tangata He Oranga
5. Sustainable Backyards Taranaki
6. Sustainable Living Programme

We are also a key partner in community-led projects including:
1. Seed Savers
2. Taranaki Timebank
